My name is Timmy Magnon and we are a second generation towing & recovery service. Our dad, Maxie Magnon, and mom, Judy Magnon, opened up South Side Towing in 1975 and 30+ years later we are still growing and learning new techniques in the business.We are family owned and operated with Maxie and Judy taking care of all business decisions and Maxie still runs the trucks when everyone else is out on calls or if he just wants to get out and interact with the public. Myself and my brother Teddy run all calls and handle the vechicle processing along with the customer relations. Maxie is currently serving as Director At Large of Towing And Recovery Professionals Of Louisiana and has been involved with T.R.P.L. since it was founded 20 years ago. We are all Wreckmaster Certified and we learn new techniques every day. Living and working in South Louisiana we encounter many different jobs and not 1 is ever the same. We are not an extremely large outfit, by no means, but we are the largest in our parish and the only company specializing in Heavy Duty Recovery and Transport. We are looking foward to visiting with fellow towers because as you know WE AS TOWERS ARE ONE OF A KIND. SEE YOU IN THE DITCH! Moms' Note: If a mom had to be proud of seven great kids, imagine one that can say she has five boys active at this time in the family business, the youngest, soon to be 18, is almost ready to commit to the action, learning on the sidelines.
